Farm Animal Quilt Along - Duck Block

Over the last few weeks, I have started a Quilt Along featuring farm animals, and each month for the next few months we will make a new farm animal block, with the aim of making a cute farm animal quilt at the end. To kick it off we started with my newest pattern - the Duck!

Some of the talented quilters involved in this Quilt Along have shared their photos already on Facebook and Instagram. But here's a recap of the best ones below!

Most of the Quilter's made the traditional Mallard Duck with their patterns, and I think I was the only one to deviate from this and make a yellow duck!

Elizabeth's Duck is very pretty with some lovely blenders:

Julia from Julia McTeer Quilting also made a beautiful mallard duck with more of a patchwork feel and combined some solids and beautiful blenders:

Lydia from Sew Ellie's also made a Mallard Duck but her's took on a bit more of a spotted duck feel:

If you missed out on the Duck Pattern - it's available from both the Etsy and Payhip Stores now. Get in touch with me if you want to join in for the March Pattern - which will be free to those who want to join in, but only if you email me!

Happy Piecing!
RJ.
