These helicopter patterns were a lot of fun to make, and the pattern is quite easy to put together - I think this is worth giving a try, even if you are relatively new to the paper piecing technique.
Julia has also completed her helicopter block and as usual, it looks amazing:
Julia is a very talented quilter and I really encourage you to check out the quilts she has for sale in her Etsy store.
Having completed all four patterns, the Helicopter, Rocket, Plane and Hot Air Balloon, I have decided to release a pattern pack with all four included in the Etsy store, Craftsy store, and also the new Payhip Store. Buying all four patterns as a pack is a little bit more cost-effective, than buying all four of the individual patterns.

These patterns are super cute and so much fun to make - also I will be giving away one pack to the first person to comment on this post and let me know what you think!
Happy Piecing!

I just started reading my newest edition of the Online Quilting Magazine that I receive from Australia. As soon as I saw a new (to me) pattern designer that does paper-piecing I had to check you out! I have a cute grandson who will be three on groundhog day (February 2nd for those not in the states) and he LOVES helicopters!! He'd absolutely love a quilt made with helicopters on it!! :-) Grandma would enjoy making it too!! (I'm grandma!!) :-) Thanks so much for offering the pattern to the first person who comments!! I'll be following from now on! Blessings!
